I Design Training That Actually Changes What People Do at Work

Fourteen years in education, and one lesson outranks all the others: covering material and teaching someone to do the job are two different jobs. Most corporate training does the first and reports it as the second.

I moved into corporate instructional design to work on the second problem. Credentials in project management and learning and development mean I speak the language of the people funding the work: scope, timeline, cost, measurable outcome. Today I work with corporate L&D teams as a freelance ID consultant, building courses, onboarding paths, and video training programs that hold up after launch.
